No. 14 Purdue opened its 2022-23 season with an 88-48 exhibition win over Division II Indianapolis on Monday night at Mackey Arena.

Center Zach Edey led the Boilermakers with 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field. He also grabbed 13 rebounds.

Purdue shot 54.8% from the field and held Indianapolis to just 33.3% shooting.

The Boilermakers also dominated the glass, outrebounding Indianapolis 46-28.
