The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) is witnessing a surge in African talent, with players from the continent making a significant impact on the league.
From Nigeria to Cameroon and South Africa, African players are showcasing their skills and contributing to the NWSL's growing popularity.
Asisat Oshoala, the Nigerian forward for the Houston Dash, is one of the most recognizable African players in the NWSL. She has won the league's Golden Boot award twice and is known for her exceptional speed and goalscoring prowess. Another Nigerian standout is Francisca Ordega, who plays for the Washington Spirit.
