Colorado State Rams Rock North Dakota in Season Opener

The Colorado State Rams men's basketball team opened their 2023-24 season with an impressive 85-58 victory over the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks on Monday night at Moby Arena.
The Rams, who are coming off a 13-18 season, looked like a much-improved team under first-year head coach Niko Medved.
Colorado State was led by David Roddy, who had 21 points and 10 rebounds. Isaiah Stevens added 18 points and five assists, while Patrick Cartier chipped in with 15 points. The Rams shot 52.3% from the field and outrebounded North Dakota 41-30.
North Dakota was led by Caleb Nero, who had 16 points. The Fighting Hawks shot just 37.3% from the field and were outrebounded by 11.
Colorado State improved to 1-0 with the win, while North Dakota fell to 0-1.
