Cooper Flagg has Arrived
The Young Actor Makes His Debut in the Entertainment Industry
Cooper Flagg, the son of Oscar-winning actor Casey Affleck and actress Summer Phoenix, is making his acting debut in the upcoming film "The Old Man & the Gun."
The film, which is based on the true story of Forrest Tucker, a career criminal who robbed banks well into his 70s, stars Robert Redford as Tucker and Sissy Spacek as his love interest. Flagg plays Tucker's grandson in the film.
Flagg, who is now 17, began acting when he was just 10 years old. He appeared in a short film called "The Last Summer" and had a small role in the 2016 film "Manchester by the Sea," which starred his father.
"The Old Man & the Gun" is Flagg's first major role, and he said he was excited to work with such a talented cast and crew. "I learned a lot from Robert Redford," Flagg said. "He's such a great actor and a wonderful person."
Flagg is hoping that his performance in "The Old Man & the Gun" will lead to more acting roles. He said he would like to continue acting and hopes to become a successful actor like his father.
