Fulham Sink Brentford At The Death As Harry Wilson Nets Twice
Fulham moved back into the top six of the Sky Bet Championship with a dramatic 3-2 victory over London rivals Brentford at Craven Cottage.
The Bees will be left to rue missed chances as they slipped to a first defeat in five games, with Harry Wilson scoring twice for the Cottagers in the last 12 minutes.
Fulham took a deserved lead just before the half-hour mark when Fabio Carvalho jinked inside and fired into the bottom corner from 20 yards.
Brentford improved after the break and levelled through Yoane Wissa's close-range finish after good work by Bryan Mbeumo down the left.
Things got worse for Fulham just after the hour when Mads Bech Sorensen headed the visitors in front from a corner.
However, substitute Harry Wilson levelled with a sweet left-footed strike from the edge of the area with 12 minutes to go.
And the Welshman completed the turnaround in stoppage time, firing home from inside the area after good work by Neeskens Kebano.
What does it mean?
Fulham move up to fifth, three points adrift of second-placed Blackburn, while Brentford drop to 10th.
