Early Voting Begins In Jackson County

**Independence, Mo.** - Jackson County Clerk, Tammy Dickinson, wants to let voters know the in-person absentee process is underway and will continue through November 7th, the day before the general election. “Early voting is a safe, easy, and convenient way to cast your ballot,” Dickinson said. “I encourage all eligible voters to take advantage of this opportunity.”

What To Expect When You Vote Absentee

In-person absentee voting is available at four locations: * **Jackson County Election Board:** 415 East 12th Street, Kansas City, Missouri, 64106 * **Blue Springs Field Office:** 901 Northeast Mock Avenue, Blue Springs, Missouri, 64014 * **Lee’s Summit Field Office:** 220 Southeast Douglas Street, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, 64081 * **Raytown Field Office:** 10201 East 63rd Street, Raytown, Missouri, 64133 Voters can cast their ballots at any of these locations during the following hours: * **Monday-Friday:** 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM * **Saturday, October 29th:** 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM * **Sunday, October 30th:** 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM * **Monday, October 31st - Friday, November 4th:** 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM * **Saturday, November 5th:** 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM * **Sunday, November 6th:** 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Voters will need to bring a valid photo ID with them when they vote.
