Knicks' Cameron Payne: Won't Play Monday

New York Knicks point guard Cameron Payne has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Brooklyn Nets due to a left foot sprain.

Payne suffered the injury in the Knicks' 108-105 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night. He played just 13 minutes, finishing with two points and three assists.

The Knicks are already without point guard Elfrid Payton, who is out with a right hamstring strain. Trey Burke is expected to start in place of Payne on Monday.

Payne has averaged 5.3 points and 3.2 assists in 14 games this season. He has started 10 games, but has come off the bench in the Knicks' last two games.

The Knicks are 9-13 this season and are currently in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. They will face the Nets at Barclays Center on Monday night.
