Man Seriously Injured After Car Crashes Into Tree on Gold Coast
Police are investigating after a man was seriously injured when his car crashed into a tree on the Gold Coast.
The crash happened around 11.30pm on Saturday night on Oxley Drive in Runaway Bay.
Police said the man, aged in his 20s, was driving a black Holden Commodore when he lost control of the car and crashed into a tree.
The man was trapped in the car for some time before he was freed by emergency services.
He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition with head and leg injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
