Patrick Mahomes Celebrates Children with Baskets

A Gala For Kids

Patrick Mahomes partnered with the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation to raise $2.5 million at their annual gala. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback had a great time throwing footballs into the crowd and he got a little help from teammate Travis Kelce.

Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes announced last week that they were expecting their second child. The couple has a daughter Sterling Skye, who was born in February 2021. Patrick and Brittany Mahomes met for the first time in high school and were later college sweethearts at Texas Tech University.

A Fun Night

Mahomes danced the night away with his wife and friends while celebrating an awesome night raising money for a good cause. Attendees bid on exclusive items in both live and silent auctions, including a custom Chiefs jersey signed by Mahomes and a one-of-a-kind experience to attend a Chiefs game with the quarterback.

The 15 and the Mahomies Foundation supports initiatives that focus on health, wellness, communities in need and families. In 2020, the foundation donated $1 million to the University of Kansas Health System to establish the 15 and the Mahomies Children's Mercy Hospital NICU.

The foundation has donated more than $2.2 million to the community. The 15 and the Mahomies Foundation is a fund of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation.
