Paul George Expected To Make Sixers Debut On Monday
Sixers to get much needed help
The Philadelphia 76ers are expected to get some much-needed help on Monday when Paul George makes his debut for the team.
George, a seven-time All-Star, was acquired by the Sixers in a trade with the Los Angeles Clippers last week. He is one of the best two-way players in the NBA and should be a major upgrade for the Sixers.
The Sixers have struggled this season, going 19-19 and sitting in seventh place in the Eastern Conference.
George should help Sixers make a playoff push
George should help the Sixers make a playoff push. He is a proven scorer and defender, and he should be able to take some of the pressure off of Joel Embiid.
The Sixers are hoping that George can help them get back to the NBA Finals. They lost to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference semifinals last season.
George excited to join Sixers
George is excited to join the Sixers. He said that he is looking forward to playing with Embiid and the rest of the team.
“I’m excited to be a part of this team,” George said. “I think we have a chance to do something special here.”
The Sixers will open their season on Monday against the Brooklyn Nets.
