The City of St. Albert has issued a snow warning for Tuesday morning, as Environment Canada is predicting up to 15 cm of snow to fall in the area.
The snow is expected to start as freezing rain early Tuesday morning, before transitioning to snow by mid-morning.
The City of St. Albert is preparing for the snow, and crews will be out sanding and plowing roads as needed.
Residents are reminded to be cautious when driving in winter conditions, and to give themselves extra time to get to their destinations.
The snow warning is in effect from 3 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday.
