Cardinal CB Oziyah Sellers Expected to Play a Big Role This Season
Stanford CB Oziyah Sellers is supremely happy to be on The Farm and has high hopes of playing a huge role in the upcoming season. A highly-touted recruit coming out of high school, Sellers redshirted during his freshman season in 2021, then played in 11 games and started 4 in 2022. He was credited with 23 tackles, including 17 solo tackles, and had 6 pass break ups and an interception.
With the departure of All-American caliber CB Kyu Blu Kelly to the NFL, Sellers is expected to step into a starting role this season. Sellers has been working hard in the offseason to improve his game, and he is confident that he is ready to take on a bigger role. "I'm excited for the opportunity to start and contribute to this team," Sellers said. "I've been working hard all offseason, and I'm ready to show what I can do."
Sellers is a physical cornerback with good size and speed. He is also a very good tackler.
