The UNLV Runnin' Rebels men's basketball team will host the Alabama State Hornets in their Premiere Home Game of the 2023-24 season. The game is scheduled for Friday, November 11th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Rebels Aim for Redemption After Disappointing Season
The Runnin' Rebels are looking to rebound from a disappointing 10-22 season last year. The team finished 10th in the Mountain West Conference and failed to qualify for the postseason. Head coach Kevin Kruger is entering his third season at UNLV and will be looking for his team to show improvement this year.
Alabama State Hornets Provide Tough Test
The Alabama State Hornets are coming off a 12-18 season in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The Hornets were picked to finish sixth in the SWAC preseason poll. Head coach Tony Madlock is entering his fourth season at Alabama State and will be looking for his team to make a run at the SWAC championship this year.
