UNLV Men’s Basketball Star Bryce Hamilton Set to Play in Team’s Season Opener
Hamilton, a Preseason All-Mountain West Selection, Will Make His Season Debut After Missing the Exhibition Game
UNLV men’s basketball star Bryce Hamilton is set to make his season debut in the team’s season opener against the University of San Diego on Monday, November 7th. Hamilton, a preseason All-Mountain West selection, missed the team’s exhibition game against Division II Humboldt State on October 29th due to a minor injury.
The 6-foot-4 guard is expected to play a major role for the Rebels this season. He averaged 17.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game last season and was named to the All-Mountain West Second Team. He is also a candidate for the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award.
Hamilton’s Return is a Boost for the Rebels
Hamilton’s return is a major boost for the Rebels, who are looking to improve on their 18-14 record from last season. The Rebels were picked to finish fifth in the Mountain West preseason poll.
With Hamilton in the lineup, the Rebels have a legitimate chance to compete for a Mountain West title. They have a talented roster, led by Hamilton, senior forward Donovan Williams, and junior guard Jordan McCabe.
The Rebels will open their season against the University of San Diego on Monday, November 7th at the Thomas & Mack Center. The game will tip off at 7:00 pm PT and will be televised on ESPN+
