Voting Tuesday? Here's what to expect on your ballot in Livingston County
Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
Voters in Livingston County will head to the polls on Tuesday, Aug. 2, to cast their ballots in the primary election. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
There are several races on the ballot, including the Republican and Democratic primaries for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, and treasurer. Voters will also cast ballots for state representative and state senate seats.
Here's a look at what voters can expect to see on their ballots:
Republican primary
- Governor: Tudor Dixon, Kevin Rinke, Garrett Soldano, Ralph Rebandt, Ryan Kelley
- Lieutenant Governor: Shane Hernandez, Brian Calley, Garrett Soldano, Lana Theis, Ralph Rebandt
- Attorney General: Matt DePerno, Tom Leonard, Kristina Karamo
- Secretary of State: Kristina Karamo, Jocelyn Benson
- Treasurer: Anthony Amore, Tom Barrett, Eugene Kang
- State Representative: Bob Bezotte (incumbent), Brady Pierce
- State Senate: Lana Theis (incumbent), Tom Barrett
Democratic primary
- Governor: Gretchen Whitmer (incumbent), Abdul El-Sayed, Ryan Kelley
- Lieutenant Governor: Garlin Gilchrist II (incumbent), Mallory McMorrow
- Attorney General: Dana Nessel (incumbent), Shri Thanedar, Kyra Harris Bolden
- Secretary of State: Jocelyn Benson (incumbent), Kristina Karamo
- Treasurer: Rob Tabaczak, Tom Barrett, Eugene Kang
- State Representative: Bob Bezotte (incumbent), Brady Pierce
- State Senate: Lana Theis (incumbent), Tom Barrett
