Adams County election workers gear up for general election
Voters urged to read up on candidates, issues before casting ballots
Training complete, poll workers ready to serve
ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — The Adams County Clerk and Recorder’s Office has completed training for poll workers ahead of the Nov. 8 general election.
More than 2,500 poll workers will be on hand at 173 polling places across the county on Election Day to assist voters with the check-in process, provide ballots, and answer any questions.
Clerk and Recorder Josh Zygielbaum said in a news release that the poll workers are an essential part of the election process and thanked them for their service.
“Our poll workers play a vital role in ensuring that our elections are fair and accessible to all voters,” Zygielbaum said. “We are grateful for their hard work and dedication.”
Poll workers must be registered voters in Adams County and attend a training session prior to working on Election Day. Training covers a variety of topics, including voter identification requirements, ballot processing procedures, and how to operate voting equipment.
Voters are encouraged to learn about the candidates and issues on the ballot before casting their votes. Sample ballots are available online at the Adams County Clerk and Recorder’s Office website.
Voters can also track the status of their mail ballots online or by calling the Clerk and Recorder’s Office at 303-636-1901.
