"It's heartbreaking to come home after a tough loss and find out your house has been broken into," Portis tweeted. "Material things can be replaced, but the feeling of violation is tough to shake off."

The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating the burglary and has not yet released any information about suspects or the items that were stolen.
