A Look at What to Expect

The Chicago Bears have officially released their 2023 regular season schedule, and it is packed with challenges. The Bears will face four 2022 playoff teams in the AFC, including the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cincinnati Bengals. They will also face the NFC South champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Preseason 2023

The Bears will begin their preseason schedule on August 13th at home against the Kansas City Chiefs at Soldier Field. They will then travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks on August 21st. The Bears will wrap up their preseason schedule on August 27th at home against the Tennessee Titans.

Regular Season 2023

The Bears will open their regular season on September 10th at home against the Houston Texans, a team they defeated 23-20 in overtime last season. The following week, the Bears will travel to Green Bay to face the Packers. The Bears will face their toughest stretch of the season from Weeks 3 to 7, when they will face the Bills, Buccaneers, Chiefs, and Bengals. The Bears will have a bye in Week 8 before facing the Detroit Lions in Week 9. The Bears will then face the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, and New York Jets before closing out the season with a home game against the Minnesota Vikings on January 7th. Given their challenging schedule, the Bears will need to be at their best in order to compete for a playoff spot in 2023.
