Terquavion Smith's Return a Big Boost for Wolfpack
Smith Missed First Three Games of Season with Foot Injury
North Carolina State basketball guard Terquavion Smith made his season debut on Tuesday night in the Wolfpack's 84-66 win over Austin Peay. Smith, who missed the first three games of the season with a foot injury, came off the bench and played 22 minutes.
Smith finished with 10 points, three rebounds, and two assists. He was 4-of-10 from the field and 2-of-5 from three-point range.
The Wolfpack improved to 4-0 with the win. They will host Elon on Friday night.
Smith's Return a Welcome Sight for Wolfpack Fans
Smith is one of the Wolfpack's most talented players. He was a five-star recruit coming out of high school and was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team last season.
Smith's return gives the Wolfpack a much-needed boost. The Wolfpack have been without several key players this season, including guard Jarkel Joiner and forward Manny Bates.
With Smith back in the lineup, the Wolfpack should be a contender for the ACC championship.
Smith's Health a Key for Wolfpack's Success
Smith's health will be key for the Wolfpack's success this season. If he can stay healthy, he will be one of the best players in the ACC.
However, Smith has a history of injuries. He missed several games last season with a wrist injury.
The Wolfpack will need Smith to be healthy if they want to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
