USC Men's Basketball to Host Chattanooga in Home Opener Monday

Trojans look to start season 2-0

USC men's basketball will host Chattanooga in its home opener on Monday, November 14th at the Galen Center. The Trojans are coming off a 77-66 win over Cal State Northridge in their season opener on Friday.

Chattanooga is 1-1 on the season, having defeated Tennessee Wesleyan 86-44 in their season opener before falling to No. 19 Illinois 73-43 on Friday.

The Trojans are led by senior guard Boogie Ellis, who was named to the Preseason All-Pac-12 Team. Ellis averaged 12.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game last season.

Chattanooga is led by senior guard Malachi Smith, who was named to the Preseason All-Southern Conference Team. Smith averaged 18.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game last season.

The game will tip off at 7 p.m. PT and will be televised on Pac-12 Network.
