Season to Start November 11
The University of Southern California women's basketball team will tip off the 2024-25 season on Monday, November 11 at home against Boston College in the Galen Center.
The Trojans are coming off a 2023-24 season in which they finished 22-12 overall and 12-6 in the Pac-12 Conference. They advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, where they lost to eventual national champion Stanford.
USC returns three starters from last season's team, including All-Pac-12 guard Destiny Littleton. The Trojans also added a number of talented newcomers, including 6-foot-3 center Aaliyah Gayles, who is ranked as the No. 1 center in the 2024 recruiting class.
Season Outlook
The Trojans are expected to be one of the top teams in the Pac-12 this season. They are ranked No. 13 in the preseason AP poll and No. 12 in the ESPN preseason poll.
USC has a challenging non-conference schedule that includes games against No. 1 Stanford, No. 2 Louisville, and No. 5 Tennessee. The Trojans also have a tough Pac-12 schedule that includes road games against No. 7 Oregon, No. 8 UCLA, and No. 10 Arizona.
Despite the tough schedule, the Trojans are confident that they can compete for a Pac-12 championship and make a run in the NCAA Tournament.
